Celluloid Indians (07): First Americans - Past and Present (1920s)

A fairly recent addition to archive.org/Prelinger Archives, not commented and fully identified yet.

This 10-minute silent film (black and white/sepia) is EXTREMELY Euro-centric and full of racial stereotypes (as provided screenshots should amply illustrate) -- Native Americans, a "primitive people", are seen as "wards" of Uncle Sam, worshipping "strange gods" in "pagan ceremonies", the "Indian maiden" does not subscribe to the latest trends in lingerie fashion nor hairstyle, which allows us to (tentatively) date this item as early 1920s (when the "bob cut" was at the height of its popularity).
