On a bright sunshiny day,
Were camped out in the forest
And intended for to stay
When suddenly...."
Vaughn Monroe does NOT meet any "Ghost Riders in the Sky" (although he seems to try to conjure them to appear by singing parts of his 1949 hit song) but "Smokey the Bear"... and dutifully extinguishes and crushes his cigarette after a lecture about forest fire prevention (and a song about Smokey)....

As far as I know, this is the only video in which Vaughn's entire family appears. The story is corny but it's a nice testament to Vaughn's love of his family. Like more of Vaughn? Visit our web site at www.vaughnmonroesociety.org
